EC Directive 96/35/EC states that companies who transport dangerous goods are required by law to appoint a dangerous goods safety advisor.
The Advisors Duties include: Advising the undertaking on the carriage of dangerous goods.
Advising compliance with the requirements governing the carriage of dangerous goods.
Preparing an annual report to the management of the undertaking on the activities in the carriage of dangerous goods. Preparing a report on any accident/incident or serious infringement during the carriage, loading or unloading of dangerous goods.
